The Beatles were John, Paul, George and Ringo. All four were born in Liverpool, in England, during the Second World War. Fortunately, the war soon ended and these young men helped people forget about the horrible sound of bombs by playing a new type of music, full of rhythm and fun. The Beatles wore their hair long (something that was not common at the time) and people were shocked by them.
