Leonardo da Vinci

You have often heard about Leo­nardo, the man born in the small Ita­lian town of Vinci more than 500 years ago. We do not know his last name and so we call him Leo­nardo da (of) Vinci, but everyone knows that wit­hout a doubt he is the most know­led­ge­a­ble and talen­ted figure in his­tory. Leo­nardo was a pain­ter, sculp­tor and draughts­man, but also a sci­en­tist, inven­tor, mat­he­ma­ti­cian, engi­neer, wri­ter and musi­cian. And all in one per­son!
